By using the Lorelins bot on WhatsApp or visiting our website at lorelins.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Lorelins is a WhatsApp-based bot that provides tools for managing Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, including:
- Dice rolling with standard notation
- Character sheet creation and management
- Campaign creation and player invitations
- Session scheduling and reminders
- DM whispers and secret rolls
The service is currently offered free of charge during our beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future with advance notice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Lorelins. By using the service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
4. Account and Access
Your WhatsApp phone number serves as your identifier on Lorelins. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your number. You agree not to share campaign admin access with unauthorized users.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Lorelins for any unlawful purpose
- Send spam, automated messages, or abuse the bot with excessive requests
- Attempt to access other users' campaign data without authorization
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the bot
- Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Impersonate Lorelins or misrepresent your affiliation with the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create through Lorelins, including character names, campaign descriptions, and other creative material. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
7. Intellectual Property
Lorelins, including its name, logo, bot functionality, website design, and documentation, is the property of Lorelins and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Dungeons & Dragons and D&D are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Lorelins is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.
8. Availability and Modifications
We strive to keep Lorelins available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes in advance.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Lorelins is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
Dice rolls generated by Lorelins use pseudorandom number generation and are intended for entertainment purposes only. We make no claims about the statistical properties of the randomization.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lorelins and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:
- Loss of campaign data
- Inability to access the service
- Errors in dice rolls or character calculations
- Actions taken by other users in your campaign
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lorelins and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of Lorelins shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the bot or on our website. Continued use of Lorelins after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
